Grass cutting problems

by Ian Yuill on 31 August, 2016

Photo of grass cuttingsOver the last few weeks I have been contact by a number of people about poor quality grass cuttingĀ of severalĀ council-maintained areas locally.

Complaints have included areas of grass remaining uncut, large piles of grass cutting being left behind and some areas not being cut at all. Areas affected included the Woodies off Broomhill Road, grassed areas at Deeside Gardens and Inchbrae Drive and, slightly further afield, the banks of the Dee between the Bridge of Dee and the King George VI Bridge.

I have highlighted all of these points to council staff and urged that areas are properly cut and excessive quantities of grass cutting removed.
