Enjoy bonfire night, stay safe and protect your pets

Photo of fireworksLike many others, I plan to attend Aberdeen’s organised firework display which takes place at the Beach on Saturday 5th November. The evening begins with fire jugglers and a charity firewalk from 7pm followed by a 20 minutes fireworks display set to music at 8pm. You can find out more here.

Always remember to put safety first when near a bonfire or fireworks. It is well worth reading the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service’s bonfire safety advice and firework safety advice.

Finally, please remember to keep your pets safe. Many dogs, cats and other animals can be badly frightened by loud bangs. You can read advice about how to care for animals here.
