I have just received an update from council staff confirming that Harlaw Academy will reopen in Tuesday 15th December.

The full message I received was:

“The clean up operation at Harlaw Academy has continued throughout today (Mon 14 Dec) following the fire at the weekend, with a number of officers and teams working on site.

“Following an assessment by a health and safety colleague, the decision has been taken to open the school to pupils tomorrow (Tue 15 Dec).

“The areas worst affected by the fire will be sealed off from pupils and staff. Specialist cleaning and repair work will continue in these areas throughout this week and into the school Christmas holidays.”
