With Robert Gordon University’s “Freshers’ Week” beginning on Monday 18th September and the first semester of the new academic year beginning on Tuesday 26th September, some Garthdee residents have contacted me asking about parking enforcement.
I have contacted the Senior City Warden and have been assured that “extra resources will be committed to the Garthdee area”. The Wardens will focus on educating people about the parking controls as well as enforcing the parking regulations.
The reply I received from the Senior City Warden says:
In the first few weeks of the new term extra resources will be committed to the Garthdee area in order to lessen the impact that the new influx of students have on parking and on the area in general.
If you need to contact the City Wardens for any reason they may be contacted on 03000 200 292 or at citywardens@aberdeencity.gov.uk.
