I have again contacted council staff about the terrible condition of the road surface of much of Cranford Road.
Cranford Road is full of potholes and broken and uneven areas. When these are repaired the almost always reappear very quickly – and are often bigger than before.
One resident made the point to me that drivers are so busy looking at the road surface to avoid potholes and uneven areas that they are much more likely not to see people crossing the road or other road users.
I have again urged council staff to properly resurface Cranford Road as soon as possible and, in the meantime, to yet again fill the potholes and broken areas.
