Ruthrieston footpath should be resurfaced

I have called on the council to resurface the footpath between Ruthrieston Circle and the lock up garages off Ruthrieston Road.
I acted after being told by a resident that he had tripped on the uneven and broken surface of the footpath and injured himself.

3years past the council resurfaced the pavement outside the property block 24 to 32 Ruthrieston Crescent , this damage was due to tree roots cracking and raising the pavement.
The tree causing this damage should have been removed as it will be a continuous operation . It appears to be quick fix which costs us the rate payer money.
I don’t know who makes the decisions but if it had been removed the first time round the problem would have been rectified
