Potholes and broken areas of road surface on Gordon Terrace were repaired earlier this week after I urged the Roads Service to to fix them.

Whilst this is welcome, the potholes will no doubt reappear within a few months. The only long-term solution to problems like this is for the council to invest more in properly repairing roads and pavements. My Liberal Democrat colleagues and I have consistently argued  for this to happen – and we will keep doing so.
