Twenty-five years ago today I was elected as councillor for the Auchinyell Division of Grampian Regional Council. Since then, through local government reorganisation and ward boundary changes, I have continued to represent our part of Aberdeen.
It is a huge privilege to represent this area – my home – on the council.
Back in 1994 I promised that, if elected, I would:
