The bus shelter outside Mannofield Church on Great Western Road, which was very badly damaged in an accident in July, is to be replaced.

As you may well have seen, the damaged shelter has been removed.

Council staff have told me:

“This bus shelter is owned by ClearChannel UK and supplied to the Council under the terms of a contract to supply advertising shelters. ClearChannel will be providing a replacement but it is expected that there will be a longer lead time than usual before this can be done as the majority of their staff remain on furlough from work due to the COVID19 situation.”

Hopefully, the new bus shelter will be in place soon at this very popular bus stop.
