Cranford Road potholes are back – again

by Ian Yuill on 5 February, 2021

The recent frosty weather has broken up the already crumbling surface of Cranford Road even more badly. I have – again – asked the council to repair the potholes and broken areas of road surface.

Hopefully the council will carry our repairs soon but Cranford Road desperately needs to be resurfaced. I will keep pressing for that to happen.

Please do let me know about any other problems with roads and pavements in our area.

I have been trying to find out when Cranford Road will be resurfaced as the whole road is in very bad condition and the pothole repairs are of shocking quality with lumps in the road left and stones cast all over the street. Why do the council not sweep up and remove all the loose stones while doing the road repairs? Can you provide any update on likely timescale of road resurfacing? I know that you are continually chasing this up and I appreciate your persistance.
