I have again urged the Council to take action to stop a small minority of drivers taking a dangerous short cut through the car parks of Airyhall Library and Airyhall Clinic.

These drivers turn left from Springfield Road into Airyhall Clinic car park, then drive behind the Clinic and Library before driving through the Library car park and turning left onto Countesswells Road. This puts users of the library, clinic and community centre at risk.

After I highlighted this problem once again with Council staff I was told they would be speaking with colleagues from the NHS before deciding whether or not to take action.

My firm view is that this dangerous short cut must be closed to through trffic as soon as possible.
