As normal, the council will be collecting real Christmas trees from the kerbside in January.

Households with wheeled bins

If you have wheelie bins, real Christmas trees will be collected on your usual brown bin collection day between 10th and 21st January. You should place your tree next to your bin. You do not need a garden tax permit to have your tree collected.

Households using communal bins 

If you use a communal bin, please leave your real Christmas tree beside it. In our part of Aberdeen, trees beside communal bins will be collected between 17th and 21st January.

Remember, real Christmas trees can recycled at Household Waste and Recycling Centres at any time.
