No excuse for Nellfield Place and Garthdee Drive dumping

by Ian Yuill on 22 January, 2022

Frustratingly, I regularly have to ask Council staff to removed dumped items from streets in our area, most recently from Nellfield Place and Garthdee Drive.

A mattress dumped on Nellfield Place was recently removed after I told Council staff about it.

I have now asked for dumped material, including a bed, a mattress and a large rug, to be removed from Garthdee Drive.

There is no excuse for dumping large household items- or anything else – as they can be taken to a Household Waste and Recycling Centre. The Council also has a bulky item collection service. This costs £30 for four items – and this service is free for Council tenants.

Nellfield Place, Garthdee Drive are an overall
Aberdeen drop in the ocean. The old Deeside Railway Line is another favorite for
    Couldn’t care less Aberdeen residents.
Aberdeen City, it’s parks, suburbs & Aberdeenshire is sinking in discarded rubbish & litter.
