The City Wardens have agreed to carry out extra patrols to tackle dog fouling problems in the Thorngrove area.
I asked the City Wardens to take action after being contacted by a concerned resident.
Please do let me know about other dog fouling problems in our area.

Dog-fouling is a problem, but it is hardly localised. Along with that, if measures are introduced (and I am _not_ advocating that they should not be introduced), I suspect that the “problem” just gets moved to somewhere else, as localised and as convenient for the recalcitrant dog-owner(s). In short, for the council and the wardens, they can take action, but it is unlikely to eradicate the problem for what it is.
Regarding the reporting of recalcitrant dog owners not removing their bagged dogs mess to the public bins provided. Ian’s lobbying to have more Warden Patrols is laudable. I would suggest the patrol times are varied a routine 09.00 to 17.00 are not going to catch the deliberate offenders they are too ‘crafty’.
