After being contacted by residents about weeds growing in pavements and road gutters in our area, I asked Council staff to treat these as soon as possible.
The roads I highlighted to Council staff include Braemar Place, Duthie Terrace, Great Western Road, Hammersmith Road and Pitmedden Crescent.

Hi Ian. What about the grass on the north bound lane of the Anderson Drive from the bridge of dee roundabout, which once again has not been cut by both asda and the council. Also the grass verge hasn’t been cut for weeks. Every year this is neglected. There is also a dead tree on the councils side which feel during the winter storms. South bound lane is cut regularly.
Braeside Place is badly affected by weeda along pavements and gutters
Weeds on Garthdee Road on pavements needs attending to. Grass cut on the hill down to Sainsbury’s looks much tidier.
Morningside area had pavement edges and street gutters sprayed last week !!
Thanks for letting me know.
Hi Councillor Yuill, the weeds are pretty bad along Morningside Avenue and Cranford Terrace.
Eva McLean, these weeds should now have been treated. It can take a week or two for the weed killer to take effect. If the weeds are still looking healthy at the end of next week please let me know and I will contact Council staff about them.
