Part of Wellbrae Terrace to be closed from 31st October to 1st November

Wellbrae Terrace will be closed from 9am on Thursday 31st October until 9.30pm on Friday 1st November between its junction with Seafield Road and the boundary between numbers 57 and 59 Wellbrae Terrace. The closure is to allow Scottish Water to carry out work.

Description : Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the order, which will operate from 09:00 on 31st October, 2024, until 21:30 on 1st November, 2024, is to impose a temporary prohibition of driving on Wellbrae Terrace, Aberdeen, from its junction with Seafield Road to the boundary between number 57 and 59 Wellbrae Terrace. An alternative route is available via Seafield Road, Seafield Gardens and Countesswells Road and also on Seafield Drive East, Aberdeen, from its junction with Seafield Road to a point 10 metres in a northerly direction. An alternative route is available via Seafield Road, Seafield Drive West and Seafield Crescent. There will also be a prohibition of waiting on either side on the same stretches of road Access to properties will be maintained, but no through traffic will be possible. There will also be a prohibition of waiting on either side of Seafield Drive East, Aberdeen, from its junction with Seafield Road to a point 10 metres in a northerly direction Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owner’s expense. The no-waiting restrictions will be demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones The measures are necessary to protect public safety during iron repair works being carried out by Scottish Water.
