The March police report for Braeside and Mannofield has now been published.

After being contacted by concerned residents, I have urged council staff to repair potholes and broken areas of road surface on Kaimhill Road, Pitmedden Terrace, Pitmedden Crescent and Duthie Terrace.

Several residents have told me how pleased they are that the work on resurfacing the pavements on Hutchison Terrace is now complete.

Every month our local police provide a report on local crime and police activity to Braeside and Mannofield Community Council.

I have urged council staff to repair a damaged bollard at the junction of Great Western Road and Hammerfield Avenue.

The opening of the southern section of the Aberdeen Western Peripheral Route earlier today should mean less through traffic using South Anderson Drive and Anderson Drive. These roads will though remain some of the busiest in Aberdeen.

I am very pleased that work is finally underway to resurface the pavements of Hutchison Terrace. The work has though been started many months after the original date council staff gave for the work being carried out.
