Dumped tyres on Ruthrieston Road

I have asked council staff to remove four tyres which have been dumped on Ruthrieston Road near where it crosses over the Deeside Way (the old railway line).

Garthdee Farm Gardens ‘adoption’ – some progress

Garthdee Farm Gardens residents are becoming increasingly frustrated by the delay in the council being able to “adopt” – take control of – that road. The delay is due to the developer Barrett not carrying out the work needed to bring the road up to the required standard.

Concerns about Salisbury Terrace resurfacing

It was great to see the badly broken and uneven surface of Salisbury Terrace resurfaced very recently. Unfortunately it seems some problems have arisen with the new surface.

Action – missing Asda steps litter bin replaced

After I called for action, the council has replaced a missing litter bin at the top of the Asda steps in Garthdee. The council also cleared litter from around the steps after I asked for this to be done.

Council staff have agreed to a request I made on behalf of residents for blocked street drain gullies on Broomhill Road to be cleared.

I am delighted that work to resurface Salisbury Terrace is due to begin on Monday 21st October.

There have been repeated problems this year with the council failing to empty dog waste bins. The most recent example of this I have been told about by residents is at Deeside Gardens.

Following the fire on 4th September, I asked the council to make sure the derelict pavilion at the former Kaimhill Outdoor Centre was safe. I urged them to demolish the pavilion if it was not safe.

I have contacted council staff to ask that action is taken to end the problem of a pool of water forming at the eastern side of junction of Thorngrove Avenue and Great Western Road after it rains.
