Thank you to everyone who has highlighted to me problems with dog waste bins being emptied.

I have asked the council to repair a damaged pole and the pavement around it on Holburn Street near its junction with Gray Street after the pole was hit recently by a vehicle.

Whilst Kaimhill Library and Ferryhill Library remain temporarily closed, Airyhall Library is open for limited browsing and computer access.

After I called for action, the council removed several fallen dead young trees from the verge of South Anderson Drive between Garthdee Road and the bridge over the Deeside Way.

After being contacted by concerned residents, I have urged council staff to take urgent action to make the steps from the eastern side of South Anderson Drive to the Deeside Way (the old railway line) safe.

It is great to see many of the hospitality venues in our area open again. If you can, please support these local businesses.

The flash floods on Wednesday 12th August damaged homes, schools and roads in our area.

The list of roads and pavements scheduled to be resurfaced over the next 11 months was confirmed at a meeting of the council’s Urgent Business Committee on 6th May.

Aberdeen City Council has now agreed to replace more dead and missing street trees on roads in our area. I am pleased the council has agreed to my request to replace these dead and missing trees.

The Roads Service has agreed to fill potholes and repair broken areas in streets in our area after I highlighted problems and urged that action was taken.
