The faulty street lights at the roundabout at the junction of Broomhill Road and South Anderson Drive have finally been repaired. 

After being contacted by residents, I asked council staff why temporary signs had been put up on Morrison Drive saying the road was to be closed from 22nd February to 12th March.

If a litter or dog waste bin is full, please don’t leave litter or bagged dog waste beside it. Instead please either take it home or put it in another litter or dog waste bin.

A report has been published on policing in Garthdee between 10th December and 5th February. The report, from Inspector Gillian Donald, covers subjects including violence, disorder, antisocial behaviour, theft, road safety and community issues.

After I contacted the police and council, an abandoned car blocking the pavement of North Deeside Road was removed.

After being contacted by a resident who said driving over the broken areas of road surface on Nellfield Place “rattles your teeth”, I have again urged the Roads Service to properly repair the potholes and broken areas on that road.

Two faulty street lights on Broomhill Avenue have been repaired after I called on the council to fix them.

Both Mannofield Church and Inchgarth Community Centre are seeking donations of food and household essentials.

I have been contacted by residents concerned about the uneven and rough state in which contractors carrying out gas pipe works left the grass verge on the eastern side of South Anderson Drive.
