I am delighted that the Great Western Community Trust has secured £425,000 from the Scottish Land Fund to allow it to purchase the Holburn West Church buildings on Great Western Road. This will ensure that the church buildings will be retained and further developed for community use.

I am delighted the Council’s Roads staff have finally agreed to resurface Hammersmith Lane. This is the lane that runs between the rear of homes on Hammersmith Road and Gray Street between the rear of Broomhill School and Great Western Lane.

I have asked Council staff to cut back the bushes growing out over the pavement on the Kaimhill School side of Pitmedden Road. These bushes are obscuring a number of signs, including a school warning sign.
