Abergeldie Terrace pavement concerns

After being contacted by a concerned resident, I have urged the Roads Service to level uneven paving slabs on the even-numbered side of Abergeldie Terrace.

Council street cleaning staff have now started the work of clearing fallen leaves from pavements and street gutters across Aberdeen. To work as efficiently as possible, they do this area by area.

Residents have told me they are becoming more and more frustrated by the ever lengthening delay in Barratts carrying out the work needed to allow the City Council to take over the roads at the Garthdee Farm Gardens development.

Success – Cranford Road resurfaced

I have again urged the Council to take action to stop a small minority of drivers taking a dangerous short cut through the car parks of Airyhall Library and Airyhall Clinic.

The bench on North Deeside Road beside the bus stop at the top of the steps and path through Deeside Gardens is now back in place after being repaired and repainted.

After being contacted by a concerned resident, I have urged the Council to repair the faulty flashing 20mph warning sign on Broomhill Road on the city centre-bound approach to Broomhill School. The flashing lights on the sign are not working.

After I highlighted the problem, the Council has cut back a hedge growing out over the footpath between Ruthrieston Crescent and South Anderson Drive.
