I have urged the council to improve the signage of Thorngrove Court and the Thorngrove Avenue flats because of regular confusion by delivery drivers and others. Recent incidents include errors by one of the emergency services.

I am pleased that the pavement on the even numbered side of Wellbrae Terrace is currently being resurfaced – it was in a terrible state.

After I called for action, the council removed several fallen dead young trees from the verge of South Anderson Drive between Garthdee Road and the bridge over the Deeside Way.

Councillors had their first chance to publicly discuss the temporary “Spaces for People” changes made to road layouts in the city centre and elsewhere at council committee meeting on Wednesday 28th October.

I am pleased that the work to resurface the pavement on the eastern side of Craigielea Avenue is now complete.

After being contacted by local residents, I have called on the Roads Service to properly repair or resurface Pitmedden Terrace and part of Pitmedden Crescent.

Very disappointingly, a replacement bus shelter on he northern side Great Western Road at Mannofield Church will not be installed until early next year.
