Temporary one way restriction on Devenick Place

Devenick Place will be one way northbound (towards Gaitside Drive) from 4th to 22nd December whilst pavement construction work takes place.

Like many residents, I am frustrated and annoyed by the last minute postponement of the resurfacing of Hammersmith Lane (the lane between the rear of homes on Gray Street and Hammersmith Road). The work was due to have been completed by Tuesday 28th November.

Temporary traffic lights on Countesswells Road

Temporary traffic lights will be in place on Countesswells Road 30 metres east of the RGC playing fields during roadworks between 7.30am on 27th November and 4pm on 8th December.

Scottish Water has finally announced when it will take action to repair the sunken area of Broomhill Road near its junction with Duthie Terrace. Scottish Water has told the City Council that this work is due to begin on 7th January 2024.

After being contacted by a number of residents I have urged the City Council to remove three large concrete blocks which have been placed to block the footpath between South Anderson Drive and Holburn Street at the rear of 662 Holburn Street.

Storm Babet fallen trees are being removed
