Liberal Democrat councillor for Mannofield, Airyhall, Braeside, Broomhill, Garthdee, Kaimhill and Ruthrieston Learn more

I have been asked by residents what the current status is of the planning application to build a care home on the empty site at the junction of Abergeldie Road and Holburn Street.
I have checked with the council’s planning staff and, because there were only a small number of objections, the decision about whether or not to grant planning permission will be made by the planning staff and not by the council’s Planning Committee.
I was told that a decision about this planning application is likely to be made about the end of September.

Good morning Ian
Do you know if the council planning staff have reached a decision on the proposed care home?
Thanks
