I have urged the Council to work with the various owners of Margaret Place to properly maintain this private road. As those who use it know, Margaret Place is potholed and crumbling with some very large and deep potholes.

Work to repair an unsafe wall means, from Friday 18th March, Cranford Road will be one-way southbound between Great Western Road and Hutchison Terrace. Parking will also be prohibited on both side of the same part of Cranford Road.

The roads Service agreed to carry out repairs to Inchbrae Drive, Inchbrae Terrace and Inchbrae Road after I highlighted problems on behalf of residents.

After I was contacted by a local resident, I asked the Council to repair the damaged bus shelter on the northern side of Oakdale Terrace opposite the Mannofield Tesco.

The January police reports for Braeside, Mannofield and Broomhill are now available and cover issues including theft, vandalism, car theft, antisocial behaviour and vandalism.

After I highlighted the problem, the Roads Service has cleared a blocked street drain which was causing a very large pool of water to form at the junction of Holburn Street and Ruthrieston Road.

I regularly report missing and damaged illuminated bollards on pedestrian islands on behalf of residents, most recently at the Broomhill roundabout and on Great Western Road.

After being contacted by concerned residents, I have urged the Roads Service to take action over the crumbling surfaces of Granville Lane and Aboyne Place.

Work to demolish the lock up garages at the Woodies off Broomhill Road should start once an asbestos survey has been carried out and any asbestos found is then safely removed.

Frustratingly, I regularly have to ask Council staff to removed dumped items from streets in our area, most recently from Nellfield Place and Garthdee Drive.
