After being contacted by a worried resident, I have highlighted to council staff that the grass area off Auchinyell Road opposite Auchinyell Terrace has been contaminated by sewage and used sanitary material.

The sewage came from a sewer which overflowed as a result of the very heavy rainfall and flash floods on Wednesday 12th August.

Hopefully the contamination will be removed soon. In the meantime, it would be best to avoid this grass area.
