After being contacted by residents, I asked council staff why temporary signs had been put up on Morrison Drive saying the road was to be closed from 22nd February to 12th March.

I was told that this was to allow for road repair and resurfacing work.

However, because of the bad weather, this work has now been postponed until April / May. The temporary signs will be taken down meantime.

I was also assured that not all of Morrison Drive will not be closed at one time. Instead the areas being worked on will be closed in turn.
