Call to repair Broomhill Road flashing 20mph warning sign

After being contacted by a concerned parent, I have urged the Roads Service to repair the faulty flashing 20mph warning sign on Broomhill Road on the city centre-bound approach to Broomhill School. The flashing lights on the sign are not working.
I hope this sign will be repaired before children return to Broomhill School after the Christmas and New Year break.

I was walking on Broomhill Road on Friday 1th at approx 20:30 – sign was flashing and workmen in attendance. Sign had stopped flashing by the time I’d got near the sign. Hopefully that means it is now fixed.
