The December meeting of Garthdee Community Council received a report from the local policing team on crime in the area between 14th November and 14th December.
There were 22 crimes recorded in Garthdee during this time.
The report says:
“Most of these relate to shopliftings and isolate incidents within homes which would have little effect on the wider public.
“On 1 December 2021 a 55 year old local man appeared at Aberdeen Sheriff Court in relation to being concerned in the supply of controlled drugs. This was an intelligence led investigation by a specialist unit who deal with serious and organised crime and a substantial amount of heroin and cocaine seized from a Garthdee address.”
