I have been updated by Council staff on the planned closure of the junction of Countesswells Road and Springfield Road from 11th to 25th October. I have now been told the junction will remain open during the day but will be closed overnight between 7pm and 5am to allow the roadworks to take place.

Springfield Road will be closed between Countesswells Road and Craigton Road to allow it to be resurfaced. Access to the car parks at Airyhall Community Centre, Airyhall Library, Airyhall School, and Airyhall Clinic will be maintained.

Bus service diversions

Bus services 15 and 11A are being diverted and Council staff have given me the map above showing the planned bus route diversions. The red dots are temporary bus stops which are due to be put in place.

First is responsible for putting “bus stop out of use” notices on the bus stops which will be bypassed by the diversions.
