The City Council has launched the second stage of consultation for its 2025/26 budget. This a chance to have your say on what you believe the Council’s budget priorities should be as it faces making further savings of around £29 million.
The high level of savings required – projected by the Council Chief Finance Officer – is a result of issues including national staff pay awards, long-term underfunding of Aberdeen City Council by the Scottish Government, and inflation.
