Frustratingly, I regularly have to ask Council staff to removed dumped items from streets in our area, most recently from Nellfield Place and Garthdee Drive.
A mattress dumped on Nellfield Place was recently removed after I told Council staff about it.
I have now asked for dumped material, including a bed, a mattress and a large rug, to be removed from Garthdee Drive.
There is no excuse for dumping large household items- or anything else – as they can be taken to a Household Waste and Recycling Centre. The Council also has a bulky item collection service. This costs £30 for four items – and this service is free for Council tenants.
