Hammersmith lane is in a dreadful state, potholes covering its entire length how about sending an inspector there!? How long do we have to wait & how many times do I have to mention it!?

    282 Broomhill Road.
I understand that work is underway regarding repositioning of speed cushions on Cranford Road. Why were the cushions positioned in the wrong place originally? Personally I think that speed cushions on the side roads between Broomhill Road & Gt Western Road serve no practical purpose.
I recall that Hammerfield Avenue was to be resurfaced but this has not happened. Hammerfield Avenue is in a dangerous condition & should have been given preference over Cranford Road speed cushions.
I also recall that the vandalised bus shelter on Broomhiill Road between Duthie Terrace & Hammerfield Avenue was to rectified back in February of this year.
The damaged viewing panels were removed around that time but the repair work was never done.
When the damaged panels were removed
the panel for the bus timetable was also removed so there has been no timetable available since then.

Pat Findlay, the speed cushions on the side roads slow vehicles down. Before they were installed some people drove at really dangerous speeds on these roads.

Ys, Hammerfield Avenue is in a terrible state. It is beyond repair and should be resurfaced. There is a backlog of road repairs needed in the city which is why my colleagues and I increased the road resurfacing budget after we took control of the City Council. It will though take a number of years to bring all the city’s roads up to a better standard.
