Like many residents, I am frustrated and annoyed by the last minute postponement of the resurfacing of Hammersmith Lane (the lane between the rear of homes on Gray Street and Hammersmith Road). The work was due to have been completed by Tuesday 28th November.

I have contacted the Council manager responsible for road resurfacing and asked for a full explanation for the delay. I have also asked for confirmation of when the work will now be carried out.

Hammersmith Lane is in a terrible state and this delay will cause continued problems for residents and others using it.

As soon as I have more information, I will publish it on my website.
