Springfield Road closed for roadworks until 4th April

Springfield Road will be closed between North Deeside Road and Craigton Road for road resurfacing from Monday 25th March until Thursday 4th April. Craigton Road will also be closed between 86 Craigton Road and the entrance to 16-25 Craigton Park.

As a result there will also be diversions to bus service 15s and 15.

Description : The effect of the order is to impose a temporary prohibition of driving on Springfield Road, Aberdeen, from and including the junction with Craigton Road to the junction with North Deeside Road. There will also be a prohibition of waiting on either side of the same stretch of carriageway for the duration of the works. There will also be a prohibition of driving and a prohibition of waiting on Craigton Road, Aberdeen from 86 Craigton Road to entrance to 16-25 Craigton Park. Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owner’s expense The no-waiting restrictions will be demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones. There will also be 3 way lights on Springfield Road at St Johns Terrace/ North Deeside Road junction for duration of the works. The restrictions are in the interests of public safety during ACC road maintenance works.
