RGU Go Green, an initiative led by the university’s students’ union, has launched Aberdeen’s first zero waste community café at Ruthrieston Community Centre.
Between 6pm and 8pm each Friday during term-time, RGU students will prepare hot, locally-sourced free meals for the community. The café will have minimal environmental impact from its activities and no waste will go to landfill.
You can find out more about the zero waste community café here.
