I am delighted that the collapsed wooden fence between Ruthrieston Road and the bridge over the Deeside Way (the old railway line) on the eastern side South Anderson Drive has, at last, been replaced.

Shockingly, the saga of delays in installing cantilevered traffic lights above the pedestrian crossing on South Anderson Drive just uphill from the Broomhill Road roundabout continues.

Work to replace the collapsed wooden fence on the eastern side of South Anderson Drive between Ruthrieston Road and the bridge over the Deeside Way (the old railway line) is due to start on Tuesday 23rd November.

I was very disappointed to be told by Council staff that the resurfacing of Nellfield Place which was due to begin later this month will not now take place until the New Year. 

The City Council is seeking people’s views on proposals to introduce double yellow lines at three road junctions in Mannofield. There are also proposals to introduce of 20mph speed limits on four roads.

The council has replaced a damaged swing seat at the Craigielea Avenue play area. I called for the broken swing seat to be replaced after being contacted by a concerned parent.

After I called for action, the Roads Service has replaced missing and damaged bollards and an illuminated globe at a traffic island on Auchinyell Road.
