Success – Cranford Road to be resurfaced

The crumbling, broken and potholed surface of Cranford Road is set to be replaced. Resurfacing work is scheduled to start at the end of September.

I have urged Council staff to repair uneven pavements and kerb stones around street trees on Holburn Road.

After I contacted Council staff about missing street trees in the Morningside area they have agreed to plant approximately 30 new street trees in the Morningside area this winter.

Morningside street trees issues

I have urged Council staff to remove dead street trees and street tree stumps in the Morningside area. I have also asked for replacement street trees to be planted in that area.

I have again contacted Council staff about the very poor condition of the road surfaces of Broomhill Terrace and Broomhill Place.

I am delighted that parts of Morrison Drive and Auchinyell Road have at last been resurfaced – but the City Council needs to do more to improve roads and pavements in Garthdee.

South Anderson Drive fence must be replaced

I have asked council staff why planned work to replace the wooden fence on the east side of South Anderson Drive between Ruthrieston Road and the bridge over the Deeside Way (the old railway line) was not carried out in July as planned.
