Following on from the public meeting last autumn, First Aberdeen is holding a drop in session on Saturday 13th February at Airyhall Library for residents to speak on a one-to-one basis with senior managers about bus services to Airyhall, Braeside, Mannofield and Craigiebuckler.
The drop in session will run from 11am until 3pm and the three first managers present will be David Phillips (Managing Director), David Adam (Operations Director) and Daniel Laird (Commercial Director).
A representative from Aberdeen City Council’s Public Transport Unit will also be there.
Please do take the opportunity to tell First Aberdeen’s managers what you think of their recent changes to bus services and the impact those changes have had on you, your family and neighbours.

Whilst I very much welcome any opportunity for dialogue about the issue of local buses, First have made it very clear to you and other Councillors that they are not for changing anything. I am left wondering therefore what this drop-in session will achieve. Do you think there is any mileage in using this an opportunity to put forward suggestions for proposals that First might look into? I am aware we already did some of that at the public meeting and await feedback.
Jillian, I think people should use the drop in session both to make clear to the managers from First why residents remain unhappy with the changes First made to bus services and to make suggestions for proposals for First and the council’s Public Transport Unit to look into.
