Aberdeen City Council and NHS Grampian have finally agreed to my request to close the “rat run” through the car parks of Airyhall Clinic and Airyhall Library used by a small minority of driver.
These drivers cut through the Clinic and Library car parks to get from Springfield Road to Countesswells Road without going through the lights at the junction of these roads. This is a very dangerous thing to do and puts children coming out of the Airyhall Community Centre play area, and Clinic, Library and Community Centre users at risk.
Bollards will be installed to make it impossible to drive between Springfield Road to Countesswells Road through the car parks.4 Comments
