Residents have contacted me asking why a fence has been built along part of the edge of the access track in the Woodies.
There was a problem with some people parking cars on the area from where the lock up garages were removed. Residents contacted me about this and I asked for a barrier to be put in place to stop cars being driven onto that area. I assumed this would be done with bollards on the access tack or a barrier at the end of the track.
I m not aware of cars every being driven off the track down the slope towards Broomhill Terrace.
I have contacted Council staff and asked that they review their decision to place the fence along the edge of the access path.

Thank you Ian. If they left the posts but removed the wires and netting I could live with that. Even better, as you say, a couple of lockable/ unlockable posts would do the job & allow access only to Council vehicles. Actually you know, nothing at all is really needed as cars are so very rarely seen in The Woodies.
