After I highlighted the problem, the Council has agreed to resurface the footpath that runs from between 184 and 186 Ruthrieston Circle and the lock up garages off Ruthrieston Road. 

After I called for action, the Roads Service has filled potholes and broken areas of road surface in several roads in our area including Broomhill Place, Broomhill Terrace, Ruthrieston Crescent, Gaitside Terrace, and Craigton Terrace.

After being contacted by a concerned resident, I have asked the Roads Service to repair potholes and broken areas of road surface in Ruthrieston. 

I have asked council staff why planned work to replace the wooden fence on the east side of South Anderson Drive between Ruthrieston Road and the bridge over the Deeside Way (the old railway line) was not carried out in July as planned.

Council staff have apologised for the delay in repairing the street lights on the Bridge of Dee. These lights are currently on 24 hours a day.

The Roads Service is set to resurface and repair a number of roads and pavements in our are over the next 10 months.

I have asked the Roads Service to replace missing illuminated bollards on a traffic island on Holburn Street at the Great Southern Road roundabout.

There are continuing problems with dog waste bins in our area not being emptied often enough. The most recent problem was with the dog waste bin at the grass area between Northcote Crescent and New Fox Lane.

The Council has finally replaced the street lights on South Anderson Drive.

The problem with the street lights on South Anderson Drive between Broomhill Road and Garthdee Road remaining on during the day should be fixed soon.
