I recently met with representatives of TSB about the bank’s announcement that it will close its Mannofield branch on 23rd June 2021. I have made it clear to TSB that many local residents oppose the planned closure.

I am pleased that the work to resurface the pavement on the eastern side of Craigielea Avenue is now complete.

Very disappointingly, a replacement bus shelter on he northern side Great Western Road at Mannofield Church will not be installed until early next year.

I am pleased that the council is resurfacing the pavement on Craigielea Avenue.

I have called on council staff to relay uneven and loose granite setts near the post box at the Seafield shops.

People have told me how surprised and shocked they are at TSB’s announcement that it plans to close its Mannofield branch. The closure is scheduled for 23rd June next year.

The September police report for Braeside and Mannofield has now been published.

I have urged the council to clean and repaint the benches and picnic table at the Craigielea Avenue play area.

I am pleased to report that the council has agreed to my request for a bike rack to be installed at Airyhall Library. Hopefully this will be installed soon.
